Wellll, classes have begun again and so far, so good. Other than that, not much has happened at school since I got back Monday. I think my Shakespeare class will be awesome! Besides the fact that it will force me to talk to people. Anyway we're going to read Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet (the only one I've already read), Richard III, King Lear, and The Tempest, I'm exciteddd. I quite like my Shakespeare professor (at this point in time anyway) and my anthropology professor, she's super funny in a dorky way, which I can appreciate. Aaand linguistics seems really interesting too so hopefully I like my schedule as much as I do now later on.

I've started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer!! thanks to my good friend Kaitlyn. I'm at the beginning of the third season right now so NO SPOILERS please & thanks. Also, I saw Sherlock Holmes and it was totally awesome, though their 7-11 advertisements were hilariously bad.

My sister and our friend gave me cardboard cutouts of nu!Trek Kirk and Spock for xmas. I didn't bring them to school because there is NO ROOM at all but anyway I think it was a cool albeit creepy present, ha.

Here's one song for you guys that I've been addicted to lately:

Miike Snow - Animal. listen to it, it's amazing. very catchy.

that's all!

Lots of things happening now! Very excited! Very busy!

It is finals week and I only have one exam left. On Friday, which is just lovely, but at least my bff (who also lives in my town) has one then too, so we can drive home together. I just finished my history exam not even an hour ago and it was so long. I wrote eight pages, back and front. I know it's only going to get worse as school goes on, but still.

Uhhh registered for next quarter, I'm glad I did AP in high school so I had credits already. I would seriously be fucked if I hadn't done, haha. classessss:

- intro to linguistics
- intro to shakespeare
- intro to human origins

Yeah, three classes, but there is literally nothing else I can take right now. And I have the weirdest schedule, all my classes are Monday-Wednesday-Friday. I'm in class from 1 til 5:20 and I have to walk up this hugeass hill between the last two, but I'm happy with it now. We'll see how it goes once I actually start class.

I've started reading Sherlock Holmes! My friend Grace who just happens to live next door to me LOVES mysteries and things, we watch Psych together when it's on. And since the movie's coming out soon (I am unaccountably excited for it. actually, it probably has something to do with just how frickin' homoerotic it looks. don't judge.) Grace lent me some of her Holmes and it's so awesome. PLUS, they are doing this super ridiculous ad campaign at 7-11 and it is just too too hilarious:

it's no mystery... our breakfast sandwiches are great! )

My roommate and I are still getting along famously, a few of my friends and I have a Glee party every Wednesday, I got the new Star Trek movie on DVD (oh how I wish I had blu-ray), it is so very cold outside (okay, like 20F, but that's cold for western Washington. and no snow in sight D:). But I get to go home on Friday for three glorious weeks, and I know for sure I am getting Inglourious Basterds on DVD for xmas, and (almost) all is (fairly) well in the world, so I am content.

How are all of my peeps? (yes. I just said that.)

heroes, you guys!!

YOU GUYS I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT TO SAY THIS.

I FINISHED THE FIRST SEASON OF HEROES YESTERDAY!!!!

okay, so it took me three days to get through the first season, haha. I remember seeing part of the first season three years ago, but I don't remember why I stopped watching. aaaanyway my new GQMF friend likes Heroes so I decided to re-watch the first season and OMG LOVE. seriously. I've heard mixed reviews about the other seasons, but hopefully I like them. so.

also, I saw Inglourious Basterds for the third time today. Its run has ended now at the only theater that was playing it here - now they're only playing two movies, Capitalism: a Love Story (no thank you) and Paranormal Activity (saw it, not impressed :/). Anyway. IB is better every time I see it, gah. I'm obsessed D: oh well. could be worse. I could be obsessed with Star Trek or something! (wait... nevermind. I am obsessed with Star Trek. and? I'm totally great with that, too.)

okay, off to start watching season two.

GUYS, I just got back from my school's free showing of STAR TREK!!! outside. on the dark, cold COMMUNICATIONS LAWN... which I suppose means that Uhura works there? or something? lol. Anyway it was SO GREAT. Everybody cheered whenever a new character was introduced, and a lot of us did the Vulcan salute whenever it came up. My school is full of awesome nerds and I love them. (I wore my Star Trek shirt today and nobody made fun of me!)
